Abstract publications

By default, your abstract will be peer-reviewed for potential publication in the Diamond Open Access journal, Multidisciplinary Biomechanics Journal (MBJ). Each published abstract will receive its own DOI. If you do not wish to have your abstract published in MBJ, please check the box at the end of the template " The author requests that this abstract not be published".

Each abstract is reviewed by two reviewers.

After the first review :

• Communication to the congress : Oral / Poster / Rejected
• Publication in MBJ : Accepted / Minor revisions / Major revisions / Rejected / Do not want to be published

If revisions are required, a second review is performed to determine if the abstract is accepted or rejected for publication in MBJ.

Use the following template (format MS-Word) to prepare your abstract: Template_ISG_2026

Please respect the following recommandations: 

• between 4500 et 5500 characters spaces included (from introduction to conclusion)
• Only original research can be published (no review or meta analysis)
• 1 figure and 1 table at maximum (a figure does note replace a table and vice-versa)
• 5 references max
• each author has to sign on a seperate file (1 file by author) the Copyright Assignment Agreement

WARNING: To facilitate editorial management in view of the potential publication of the abstract in MBJ, after uploading your abstract in the "Abstract" section, it is MANDATORY to make the following uploads in "Supplementary Data":

• re-upload the abstract in .docx format as "Other" type
• upload the figure in 300dpi as "Image" type, if applicable.
• upload as many copyright assignment agreements as there are authors, also as "Other" type
